5th International Istanbul Open Karate Tournament will be held on 17-18-19 September 2010 in Istanbul with participation of more than 40

 countries. Cadets, Juniors, Seniors, Veterans and Team Kata competitions will be held with more than 70.000 USD cash award and prices. Before the Istanbul Open Karate Tournament two legend; Haldun ALAGAS and Alex BIAMONTI will give seminar between 13-16 September 2010.  International Istanbul Open Karate Tournament is open to all 4 style's Shotokan, Shitoryu, Gojuryu and Wadoryu.

   World Shotokan Karate Union which was founded in Basel, Switzerland has organised its first event World Shotokan Karate Championships held in  Istanbul by participation from 33 countries 890 athletes.  Mr.Esat DELIHASAN elected as the President of W.S.K.U. Adrian Popescu SACELE (Romania), Kakha BASILIA (Georgia), Zubeyir SAHIN (Switzerland), Ulvi GULIEV (Azerbaijan) elected as Vice Presidents. Mr. Hayrettin HAMURCU appointed as Technical Commitee Chairman.
